No, usually the VREG should never be on. It is held low with an internal pullup resistor on the power supplies.

Since you programmed the combo, why not just connect with a terminal?

Can anyone tell me why is the error that showed up as "Found 1 errors." (MOSI FAIL at BUS Hi-Z 1)?
Let me mention that my board still lacks the CD4066 IC. Is this for that?
And yes, just the Tx and Rx worked with my USB to TTL and RS232 board this time.

Yes, the 4066 provides the power for the pullup resistors. They hold the bus high during the hi-z test.

I've corrected the error. Actually R5 was missing, maybe dropped while I was forcibly brushing board with IPA. I've put a 2K2 in R5, and it's OK now.

I conclude that BP selftest feature is unable to detect the absense of CD4066.
These are pictures of my setup. It will be a standalone board after I get the FT232 and 4066 from element14. Till then, it will be as a combined product.

Nice job, thanks for sharing! It looks like you have firmware v5.3 installed, but sure to upgrade to v5.10 (I think you already did in another thread).
