Bus Pirate General Erratic Behavior

Hi all,

I can connect my Bus Pirate to the computer. 'Connect' to my Bus Pirate. But, whenever I send text to it, nothing comes back and nothing happens. In fact, when I press buttons on my keyboard, the RX light blinks (and, I think, the TX light, but I can't be sure) every time I press a key - but still no response.

I am on OS X and using the SparkFun Bus Pirate.

Any suggestions?

What serial speed are you using? I think the default is 115k

Another possiblity is that the pic isnt working as it should.

Yup, check your terminal settings. See the tutorials for OSX in the Bus Pirate manual, also check the Bus Pirate 101 tutorial.
