Free PCB Build - USB IR Toy (pth) August 07, 2011, 10:02:16 pm After my bad luck with the SMD version (which I hope to fix, once I get adequate reworking tools), I thought I'd try the PTH version. Success! Here's the build:[attachment=1]I have this nice, small remote from an old soundblaster Audigy (or something like that) that I want to use, and sure enough, I was able to receive signals from it.[attachment=0]I'm in the process of moving house, so my projects will probably all be on hold for the next few months. I'm hoping to use the IR Toy to help me figure out how I can use this remote to control the Schamplifier, once I get the enclosure finished. Thanks for the PCB, Ian, it's really fun to have things work on the first try!
