Bus Pirate v4 production firmware v6.0

This is the firmware that will go into the Bus Pirate v4 prototypes.

We don't have a bootloader yet, so the prototypes will NOT have a bootloader. You must have a PIC programmer to upgrade them.

The USB VID/PIDs are assigned by Microchip for the Bus Pirate v4

so it is safe to assume they will be in the stores with xmas? Looks like santa ian is making lots people happy

What are the specs of the bpv4? Especially the onboard eeprom. Or is it the same as our proto?

I hope so, they were delayed a little. The first run always takes longer while the production prototype is made.

Actually, at the moment, there is a problem with the production prototype. Kevin built it, but it is not seen by the PC. There is no oscillation on the clock pins. Everything looks good (voltages, MCLR, Vcore cap, etc). He is trying a different crystal now, I also suggested a different PIC. I'm not sure what else could be wrong. After the prototype is working, it will be available in about a week.

I specified the 24aa64 (64kbits/8kbytes), the biggest with sot-23 package I believe:

Ok. The eeprom on our prototype is smaller; it is presented as 8x I2C-EEPROM with 256bytes of storage. This one has 16 bits adressing

I'm happy i didn't upload the load/save eeprom code yet
