IDEA for firmware

Hello @all to my first POST.

i use the ir-toy. ;-) .

I have look at the firmeware to learn much more about uC programming. but i have see many switch case commands where ask at first the lowercase and then the uppercase.

i know its a fast way but maybe its more elegant to subtract at first all chars between 0x61 and 0x7a with 0x20. --> change all alphabetics chars to uppercase.

i like this way... it was only an idea.

That would certainly work

I'm actually going to overhaul the whole state machine thing soon I think.
