Why SRST is bidirectional?

As in the subject. TSRST (along with TRST) is used to reset the DUT.
What's the point / use case of having nSRST as both output and input. Why would you input it?

Hi....I arrangement OpenOCD with the LPC4330 and outer SPIFI streak. Works pleasantly with the JLLINK firmware on the LPCLink2.

There is only one issue, I can't reset the CPU utilizing the equipment reset signal (SRST).

At whatever point I arrangement OpenOCD to attest the SRST line, nothing occurs.
