Title: 4 layer gerber submission error check
Post by: AK6DN on November 01, 2017, 10:04:57 pm
I have submitted a 4 layer design for fabrication, and I get ERROR flags when I look at the layer report.

Specifically, I have .gp1 and .gp2 gerbers for the two inner plane layers, and they are flagged as OK.

However, also listed are .g1 and .g2 layers, which I don't supply, flagged as ERROR (since I don't supply them, of course).

.g1 vs .gp1, etc are noted as being mutually exclusive, so why am I getting this error? Is it expected (and a bug in the analyzer?).

It would also be nice that, for multi layer boards, that the inner planes/layers could be rendered as images, as a sanity check.
