Hi !
I will send a 10 cm x 10 cm Protopack order very shortly, composed of two projects (4.9 cm x 10 cm) designed with KiCad, and panelized with the Panelizer software available from the GerberTools package (https://github.com/ThisIsNotRocketScience/GerberTools (https://github.com/ThisIsNotRocketScience/GerberTools)). I followed this howto : https://hackaday.io/project/19202-small ... x-possible (https://hackaday.io/project/19202-small-pcbs-for-panelizing-tutorial/log/59210-panelization-using-gerberpanelizer-on-windows-linux-possible). This is clearly way MUCH easier compared to appending one board to the other in KiCad, adding mouse bites and so on.
Did someone already used this software ? I want to make sure the combined Gerber (and drilling) output files format is compatible with DirtyPCBs process before placing the order.
Thanks !
I would let Dirty PCBs do the paneling for you unless you have certain needs. I have submitted small boards like a SO28 to DIP28 adapter module and received 8 to 20 piece panels. I'm ordering 100pcs or so (still very good price for small boards).
