Title: type file to upload during order process
Post by: qrptechbv on October 20, 2016, 12:15:33 pm
Hi,

I am trying to order through the dangerousprototypes com/store/pcbs website
and not succeeding. I keep getting errors about the zip file not beeing recognized.
I designed a pcb with kicad and put the rs274x gerbers / excellon drill / pdf drill report
in a zip file for upload. The website complains everytime about the file not being
recognized.
I have tried different naming conventions for the zip file. I tried a zip file with only the
gerber and excellon files. I have tried a single gerber file for upload. Nothing worked.
I have uploaded the zip file , for testing, to circuitpeople and there the gerbers
are shown correctly.

My question is : what is the correct file format ?
Any information about that ?

Thanks,

roelof

What OS and zip program are you using? 7zip created zip archives work well generall. You can also email me the fIle and I can check it out.
