Hello all,
My current design is only 21mm^2 so I thought I would do a 4x4 panel to make the most of the 50mm boards.
This is the first time I've done it, I asked before about how to indicate a v groove to the board house but didn't get a straight answer, so decided to try the mouse nibble method.
How does my attempt look? Will this make it through the board house?

The holes are 0.6mm drills, spaced 0.75mm apart (on their centers):

Bonus question, I've got 1x2mm slots in the red pads in the 4 corners of the above photos, think those will get cut correctly? (The boxes are lines drawn on the dimension layer) (I don't mind if they are through plated or not)
Cheers
Sol
As long as you dont violate the rules of the boardhouse (too much) it gets made. For panels the most important one is that the boards are connected.
Btw your pics arent working.
Edited my post to use imgur
Take a look at the drills for your mouse bites. With 0.6mm holes at 0.75 distance, your boards will almost fall apart.
0.5mm drills at 1.0mm distance would be fine.
Thanks :)
Tom Hausherr's Blog at Mentor Graphics has a good write up on breakaway panels:
