Hi
I have a solder paste dispenser similar to the one Ian profiled in this video (http://http://dangerousprototypes.com/2013/02/07/workshop-video-54/). At the end of a baking session I end up with a syringe with a still usable volume of solder paste in it. I've been putting these in the fridge in a sealed plastic bag. I don't put much paste in a syringe but with the small volumes of boards I make up I use very little, so always will get a few weekends work out of each syringe before they go too hard to use - I've yet to finish one to empty.
Is there a better way? What do you guys do with the syringes once you've finished a day's baking? Do you just throw them out, or is there a way to clean and resuse?
Thanks
Geoff
You could add some liquid flux into the mix, just before it gets too hard. Not that easy in a syringe (I use jars which makes it a bit easier)
