Hi,
How do I view the rendered images of a PCB I have ordered?
When I used the Dirtypcb service I was emailed the images so I could check I had not made a mistake but this has not happened with the Dangerous Prototypes service.
Regards
There are many free gerber viewers, or even online gerber viewers. Just do a search on "gerber viewer".
I prefer the online viewer on circuitpeople.com It is a simple straighforwarded viewer (per layer)
this one is a bit funkier: http://svgerber.cousins.io/#board-renders (http://svgerber.cousins.io/#board-renders) or even 3d: http://mayhewlabs.com/3dpcb (http://mayhewlabs.com/3dpcb)
Thanks folks, that did it.. svgerber.cousins did it for me. Less panic about what I've asked to be made. :)
Thanks everyone.
We were up and rendering like champs after the update last month, but then a PDF file snuck through for some reason and the system chocked. I fixed the issue and reset the rendering backend, but it did skip a number of boards from a week ago. They will eventually be re-rendered on the next update.
+1 to circuitpeople.com
I use their option to download a complete set of png's for gerbers to give the design on finally eyeballing
