The specs tab on the new site (http://http://dev.dangerousprototypes.com/store/pcbs#specs) says V-cuts are "Now Refused!"

It is an advanced option on the new site. The specs are just copy paste from the old site.

use slots :P it is more documented and it also gives a smoother board-edge.

Heh, Sadly with my design I really don't have the room for slots, I also can't add the joining tabs and nibbles without having the sand them back. Thats too much of a pain in the bum :)
