Hi!
I wanted to make my own Bus Blaster v1 (v1 because it seems to be the easiest and cheapest to make) and I have a question about the PCB file.
I got the .brd file from here (http://https://code.google.com/p/dangerous-prototypes-open-hardware/source/browse/trunk/BusBlasterv1/BusBlaster-v1.brd?r=747) but when I open it in Eagle there are two layers: _tsilk and _bsilk that contain information about a license and they make submitting the file to OSH Park impossible because they make the board larger then it needs to be (see image below). I can't seem to get rid of the text and/or layers.
Does this mean that printing your own PCB is not allowed? I thought it was open hardware.
I'm a little confused, please help.

You could either edit the file in eagle to remove the text on those layers or use the cam processor to generate gerbers with just the layers you want.
This is a functional problem not a legal one as far as I can tell.
ps dirty pcbs might be cheaper too.

Thanks Tom, I guess I wasn't clear when i wrote "can't get rid", I did try removing them in Eagle but couldn't select the text in anyway.
However I managed to go around the problem, when I saved the .brd file it was converted to Eagle XML format and then I just removed the license text in a text editor.
Problem solved.
On OSH Park: yeah it's not the cheapest, I used it mostly for the .brd preview to make sure everything looks fine. Seeed seems to be even cheaper than DityPCBs.
