Title: Bootloader even/odd switching
Post by: ian on July 09, 2010, 01:01:12 pm
I was stupid to choose lower number for the bootloader upgradde. The higher number should always be the upgrade. The next release will skip a .5 for this reason. The upgrade will be .7 and the new program will be .6. That way you can upgrade (pointlessly)  to .7, but aren't tempted to upgrade with the full version.

I never understand this ;)

Why not having just one version number? If someone has a pickit or icd he would tell it anyways...

Btw 2100 posts congrats! Where is the beer?
