Rubber band guns are a classic, and sooner or later every classic gets either brought back,
hacked, or improved on. The inspiration for this project came when I started seeing Youtube
videos for custom rubber band guns.
I made a rubber band gun for my dad for Christmas from a design I found online. The pistol
looked really nice, but it was a pain to assemble – I stabbed myself through the hand with a
screwdriver trying to put it together.
I wanted a design that was simple to assemble and had multiple firing modes. By using a
laser cutter instead of a scroll saw, I was able to dial in the precision and speed up
production. After months of design and “prototyping” (a lot of playing around) I finally have
three models that I'm proud of.
The Enforcer: a basic semi-automatic, five-shot pistol with a simple step action. The simplicity of the design was really attractive to me - it only has one moving section.

The Destroyer: fully automatic and holds at least 16 rubber bands, depending on the size of the ammo you use. Pennies in the mechanism make a satisfying "clack-clack-clack" sound when you fire.

The Annihilator: similar mechanism as the Destroyer but in a submachine gun body style, with the added benefit of being able to switch back and forth between semi-auto and full-auto. It fires the largest bands, giving you the most power of the three models. It also has a removable magazine for rubber band storage.

I learned a lot from my first Kickstarter campaign and have relaunched it with ~15% lower prices and more reward levels. I am already at 29% of the funding goal after 9 hours.
