Title: How to use external clock and measure clock
Post by: Yaro on February 16, 2015, 12:55:12 pm
Hi all,

I want to ask you how can I use and external clock source as reference with Logic Sniffer. I've seen I should use CKI pin, but I don't see any CKI on Logic Sniffer board, which number pin is?

Also, I want to measure differents clocks and I want to visualize clock on a pin and not the wave, it's possible to visualize an input clock or measure rising clock number in one second?

It's not at the edge of the board, it's actually in the middle of the board, between the FPGA and the microcontroller.

Never used it before but I believe the only way to use it is to select "External" for "Sampling Clock" setting at the Acquisition menu.
