I upgraded to Mac OS X (10.10, Yosemite) and have noticed I cannot launch the Logic Sniffer Client.
When I try to launch I get this dialog:

I can go back but I saw notes indicating the latest Logic Sniffer was using a later Java SE runtime. Am I mistaken? Any thoughts?
It appears that this message won't go away until you install the "legacy" Java SE 6 runtime from Apple. The "More Info..." button provides you with a download link to the "2014-001" installation package. After this package is installed, the OLS client starts up using the latest Java version installed (however, you might need to temporarily disable the Gatekeeper functionality (http://https://github.com/jawi/ols/wiki/FAQ#Software)).
I too have upgraded to OSX 10.10 and can no longer run OLS Client. Because of security requirements at my location, I cannot go back to Java SE6, so that is not an option. In addition, required security updates of other Java applications now require Java 8.
PLEASE come up with a way to fix this on OSX 10.10 so OLS client can run on Java 8, as I have come to be very dependent on OLS & OLS client.
