Title: MikroC Pro for web platform
Post by: prensel on November 11, 2012, 04:52:54 pm
Hi there,

Did anyone use the mikroC Pro compiler (from mikroe com) with the web platform ?

I'd like to switch from the Arduino platform to the PIC platform but the MPLABX IDE looks much harder to work with then the Arduino IDE (lack of libraries for example) so i'm thinking of using the mikroC Pro compiler instead.

Thanks,

Paul

MPLAB X IDE is beta quality at best (especially avoid the latest 1.50 release). The "old" MPLAB IDE (non-X version) is much more mature, stable and usable at this point.

As to MikroC Pro - I have it, but haven't used it with the web platform. There's no reason why you can't use it if you wish though.
