Title: Program 32MB/64MB CMOS SERIAL FLASH CHIPS

Wondered if the BP3 could program a generic 32MB/64MB CMOS SERIAL FLASH CHIPS ?

I have some .vfo files which I want to program and I am thinking of the BP .

im sure you ment SST25VF032B .. this one should be supported by flashrom, and there should be support in flashrom for buspirate. You should give it a try ;)

It's probably possible if it's just a simple SPI ROM. It might be a lot slower than a 'proper' programmer though, especially the high-speed FT2232-based programmers that are really popular for flash and JTAG.
