Title: BP V4 as STK500 with AVRStudio6
Post by: s3c on August 08, 2012, 04:29:59 pm
Has anyone played around with the BP V4 as an STK500 programmer. I can confirm that it doesn't work (for me at least) with AVRStudio6 with the V6.1 firmware. My understanding was that the STK500 firware was integrated? Does it have anything todo with this thread:

I'm sorry abotu the problem, thanks for the report. We have this issue on the bug tracker, there is a potential solution. I believe the firmware has now been integrated, but never in a released firmware. The issue with AVRstudio 6 is that it wants a newer firmware version in the hardware descriptor than we currently use.

Thanks for the update Ian, I'll use my AVR Dragon for now. Best of luck in Singapore :)
