Title: MCP2200 MIDI BAUDRATE
Post by: roger on July 11, 2012, 01:01:23 pm
Hi,

I am interested in using the MCP2200 breakout board at a MIDI baudrate, however the Microchip configuration utility does not contain MIDI as a selection, and I can find no configuration utility on the Dangerous Prototypes website.

Can anyone suggest how I can set MIDI on this module

Thanks

Roger

The chip should adjust to any baud set by the program that opens it. MIDI is 31250 bps, though you'll need an adapter to talk to most (for example) musical equipment.
