Title: Newbie Simple Serial acces

Hi

I'm feeling like a newbie since I've got this pirate bus.

I would like to know how to use it as a simple serial cable.

In fact i would like to install openwrt on a fonera. Is it possible ?

Where can i find a simple how to for newbie ?

Chip demonstrations (http://http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus_Pirate#Chip_demonstrations) at Wiki is your friend. I did the same thing about a year ago, real simple. You don't need a BP for that, a simple FTDI adapter is just enough.

BTW, once you configure UART, you are better off with the terminal mode (1)

In fact i saw that i've got a problem when i bought the fonera. The Sector adaptator was the wrong.
