Just finished this today. http://http://www.planetjay.com/2012/02/04/bus-pirate-shield-for-arduino-build/ It's the worst soldering I've ever done and yet I'm proud since it's the first time I've ever soldered SMTs.
Nice work! I think it looks really clean. 0603 is a tough size for your first SMT board :)
Yes it was hard. :) Now I just have to find the code for it. I already know what I want to build next too.
Maybe the bus-ninja code can be used for this?
I worked with the developer to get some features inti it. It does compile but there is still no support for the hardware features.
So; I dont quite understand. The Arduino bus pirate shield is (or will be?) basically the hardware needed for a bus pirate but using Arduino code?
why re-invent the wheel?
Another developer made the bus ninja, this was kinda a bit of hardware to take that to the next level with an arduino. The only real reason to do it was because the firmware was (almost) in place, and it is good PR. When I am at maker faires some people come right up and say "so what do you have for arduino", and I'm like, nada :)
Hello all..
I have Bus Pirate shield test board (White PCB) like in here:
http://dangerousprototypes.com/store/in ... ucts_id=17 (http://dangerousprototypes.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=17)
I need the B.O.M list for that pcb because the B.O.M list on doc link is different:
http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Fab ... ate_shield (http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Fabienne:_Bus_Pirate_shield)
Thank you..
