Title: Xmas newbie Cool Runner II + Pickit2
Post by: mrb0y on December 29, 2011, 11:54:50 pm
I got this for my self for Xmas and I've already ordered Bus Pirate V4 so it will be here in a few weeks. My question is can I use Pickit2 with MPLAB to program the CPLD Coolrunner II device? If so can some one point me to a quick tutorial? Thanks and happy holidays!

Hi mrb0y,

As far as I know, no, the PICkit2 cannot be used to program any CPLD.

in theory a xsvf player could be built for pickit2 but there are none available at the moment. But you say you ordered buspirate - that you can use to program cpld.
