I purchased two v1.1 boards. I'm more of a hardware guy than software. I was wondering if anyone has connected a webcam so that timed snapshots can be saved to a MicroSD card and retrieved over the web, or uploaded to a site for downloading? If no one has done this yet, I'd like to take a shot at but don't want to reinvent the wheel if it's been done already. Any ideas?
Thanks.
IT has not been done as far as I know. It would probably be best to start with one of the SPI/etc camera elements from SparkFun/Adafruit instead of trying to hack a USB webcam protocol.

But don't know what he used.
EDIT:
Did some research, the "siemens IQP-530" or "IQP-510" should be perfect for this. ;) Just looked on ebay, here in germany the 510 is just 3€ with shipping... and it has a flash!
you would probably be better off using a cmos camera that has a ttl serial i/o
