Hey Guys
I'm working quite some time on my Huge Pixel Matrix Project called PixelInvaders (http://http://Pixelinvaders.ch). The Software PixelController is available on Github (http://https://github.com/neophob/PixelController).
The core of the Software is written in Java (and Processing), the frontend is written in Pure Data, thus I can use the OSC protocol. I just uploaded a new Video which shows my Android Tabled and the PixelInvaders Matrix in Action:

Very cool! I made a simple red 5x5 LED matrix that pulls user-submitted animations from the web. You totally have the next step with RGB, way more pixels, and killer software. Well done sir :)
Thank you sir ;)
That is a very awesome website, software, and hardware!
It doesn't seem that you wrote what led's you use specifically, may you tell us? :P
Hey hak8or
Thanks, the modules are lpd6803 based, each module has 3 smd rgb led "onboard" and I sell them at http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=208 (http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=208) if you're interested ;)
do you need more information?
cheers

Edit: I just created a shopy entry with more details: http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=390 (http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=390)
Hey guys
I'm updating my PixelController software and did some major updates like an integrated GUI, Color Sets etc. Take a look at the Screenshot, the code is on GitHub.
I hope you find it useful!
Cheers

Cool looking software! I'll try it with my way less impressive daft punk wall thing.
Just a short followup, I released the first beta version of PixelController on GitHub: https://github.com/neophob/PixelController/downloads (https://github.com/neophob/PixelController/downloads)
cheers
Would this software work well with the following RGB LED strips?
http://adafruit.com/products/306 (http://adafruit.com/products/306)
Is there any guides out there to help me along the way, this looks like an amazing project.
Thanks.
Phil
Those Strips should work when using a Raspberry Pi and PixelPi (https://github.com/scottjgibson/PixelPi (https://github.com/scottjgibson/PixelPi)), however I never worked with those.
<shameless advertising>
You could also use some LPD6803 based LED Modules together with your Arduino/Teensy board here http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=390 (http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=390)

And btw, I just uploaded the v1.3.0 Beta 5 release (latest Beta Release), contains some fixes and more device support.
More updates, I released the 6th beta release of the 1.3 version, a lot of fixes and updates.
and you can even play with pixelcontroller without any hardware...
cheers
After PixelController Beta 18 I finally released the final version. I even created a short rough cut video that will show you, what PixelController does.

Hey Guys
I'll release PixelController v1.31 soon, fancy new features:
-Wireless PixelInvaders Panels (using ser2net and a RPI)
-OSC Generator: use Processing (or any tool you like) to send images to PixelController. I included some examples how to use a MS Kinect and how to stream live video feed from your Android phone to the PixelController software.
Take a look at the Rough Cut Video #2, featuring two PixelInvaders panels

- GUI update and enhanced
- Multipanel support for E1.31 and Artnet devices
- More Effects and Mixer
