Sorry for the off-topic, and you can delete my message if you think so.
Is there any date for the date of release of the BusBlaster v2, and if its JTAG will be fully functional?
We have to get v1 out first. Ive been expecting it for over a month, i will ask about it next week :) v2 is in production now and i hope to have it up in a couple of weeks.
What do you mean by will the jtag be fully functional? Both v1 and v2 pass the production testing procedure. V2 can be updated with new logic as needed though because f the cpld, so it will be constantly improving :)
Have you gotten any word from Seeed Studio yet? I ordered some Fusion PCB service and I'm hoping I can combine the Bus Blaster with the PCB shipment.
I just got an update this week:
V1 failed testing, I guess because they have a driver issue on the test PC. Even the prototype and v2 won't work.
v2 has not gone to assembly yet. Seeed promised to make the final prototype soon and get it to production.
My PCB is an ARM7 project and I can't do anything with unless I have a JTAG debugger
Hopefully this gets resolved soon
What happens to the entire batch if the failure was due to a hardware issue or unknown issue instead of a driver or software issue? I'd take one for a heavy discount.
They had four working prototypes (2 x v1, 2 x v2) and they no longer work either, so I'm still betting on driver issues.
What voltage is your ARM7 JTAG interface? If it is 3.3volts, you could use an FT2232 breakout board instead of a purpose-built programmer. They are pretty cheap at digikey or mouser, and we are also expecting ours to be back in stock ASAP.
It's 3.3V, AT91SAM7XC512. I was actually originally planning on getting the FT2232 breakout board and then building a buffer + header attachment myself using a perfboard and some 7400s, but it was out of stock. I actually thought it would've been smart for you to simply provide everything on the Bus Blaster as an attachment for the breakout board instead.
I also have an Altera USB-Blaster clone, but I'm not sure how straight forward it will be to get it working with OpenOCD to do work with ARM, or how to get it working with CrossWorks which is a backup plan.
I only have PayPal right now, DigiKey or Mouser requires me to call in some favors.
So they had them working and they just stopped working on a different computer?
Hopefully something good happens soon.
Hi, I asked Seeed if a Pre Order was possible and got this reply today:
Hi Roger,
Sorry ,I can't help you .
The Bus Blaster V2 have no production. We do not intend to sell.
Pls understand.
Hou
I am very keen to get hold of one, is there any further info on availability?
LOL, they should have 100 waiting to be tested. Not sure what that is about :)
They should be available any day, I guess it is our next project.

I certainly hope so! I've been checking every day, since frank26080115 told me about BBv2 on reddit :)
I'll ask for an update first thing next week. We're almost ready. The Bus Blaster page and design page are nearly complete:

Hello Roger,
Sorry to confuse you.
The Bus Blaster V2 is being tested and it will be in stock within next week.We will keep you posted about this.
Thank you and have a nice weekend!
Best regards!

Hou,
Hello, I think there is some confusion between us. Seeed I am told have 100 Bus Blaster V2 units built and ready for testing, why would you not intend to sell them? When you say "The Bus Blaster V2 have no production" what does that mean?
Yours Sincererly,
Roger Costello
