Title: Capturing 56 kHz remotes
Post by: mrgriscom on February 20, 2020, 09:45:41 am
Can IRToy v2 capture 56 kHz remotes, and if so, how? I thought for a carrier frequency so far from 38 kHz, you'd use the raw IR sensor (RX2), but reading the firmware documentation, it sounds like RX2 can only provide a carrier frequency estimate, not provide a raw IR capture. In that case, can the main sensor reliably capture a 56 kHz carrier signal? Or is the sensitivity too degraded. Thanks for the help.

(Please note I'm a noob to IR and don't yet have a 56 kHz remote to test with)
