Probably the reason why only some are working has to do with which ones are multi-part codes and which ones are singles. From the spreadsheet on the Pioneer website, it looks like most of the codes are two part codes.
Yes. Winlirc only has partial support for 2 part codes. They will record correctly, but I need to fix the transmission code to make them work, right now only the first part of the code will get sent. I just haven't had a chance to do this yet, but its on the dev to do list. Unless someone else wants to make a patch :)
Hi, The codes on the website http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/co ... /plc-xt30/ They look like 'raw' signals and not decoded at all. I guess that is rawing timing info for the pulse/space lengths for each button press.
As for transmitting, it does work, or at least it did when i wrote the winlirc transmission code. But you'll need a newer firmware version for the IRToy, i can't remember which exactly. v22 i think
I don't use win8, but from what I recall it doesn't really shut down, it sort of suspends, hence the fast boot times. I think restart does a proper reboot.
Can you use the winlirc plugin, for eventghost ? :) As for winlirc needing a password, version 0.65 required some registry password later versions do not
If the bugs are ironed out, the support requests fade away :p That's generally how it goes lol. The ir toy is a nice bit of kit though. Certainly fun to mess with
Go for it ! I also have a 64bit version of winlirc. Not sure if anybody is interested in it. If you check out the source it should compile. Although some plugins aren't supported because they rely on 3rd party dlls, which of course are still 32bit :p
It would really help lirc/winlirc if there was a database. I could wrap up some code for you also that would validate files. That would stop people uploading garbage.
