Then I probably would wait for an papilio with spartan 6, atleast an papilio have io pins, the avnet board doesn seem to have lot of io. The sparfun breakout that I tried to link to, have more io than anything, every pin is broken out, so even that would be good..
So, I guess my quest have to end there, Papilio Plus, or Sparkfun breakout. oh, well.

But I also need hot air, but it seems that some stations are as big as an solderingstations, and therefore an 968 seems kinda.. a good choice even if.. Does it exist any less spacehungry one? (I saw Ian used an 852 now, but it takes same space as the 968), but some seeks to have the fan in the handle, some don't. Some sends cold air through it after use, some dont, some have good temperature regualtion and airflow, some dont.. damn, this is not easy.. I'm probably not going to use it very often, but when I first need it I want it to work, not wanting to buy an boat anchor..

Only fpga breakout I have found so far is this, but spartan 3: sparkfun product: 8458 (Why can't I enter any url?) The Papilio is a bit easier to start with instead of that, but an breakout with all io avilable would be interresting, but I guess, an BGA would be monstrous?
