Open Bench Logic Sniffer / Actual state of Open Logic Sniffer
Hi Ian (and other admin here in),
Please,
most of topics related to new versions and bug correction are 5 to 6 pages, and it's very annoying to get back to any of them when you did missed some versions.

Can we have a simple (locked) topic having:
1- Last version of normal core + associated tools for bootloader, update tool,...
2- last version of Verilog core + associated update tools.

You can eventually add History under the release to show known bugs and corrected problems (in very short format). Users who want to know details can still look for them on the forum discussions.

This will make things easier for someone who buy the OLS, and wants simply upgrade to last working version easily without reading tens of forum posts.

any one got the ethernet stack and usb stack from Microchip working in the same project?
I want to make something like webplatform but using the USB stack directly on a PIC24 (having USB onboard).
Any one got both to work on same project?

CPLD programmable logic / Any book to learn CPLD from scratch?
Hello,
I'm looking to learn CPLD (I ordered both cpld boards from Seeed), but I didn't find "cool" books. I really find only books that focus more on boolean algebra than on applications.
I understand that CPLD/FPGA are more on logic combinations, but books are not that cool to read. Almost all books have been written by engineers for engineers, and electronic is not my daily job, so I find them somwhat ennoying.

I found this kit http://www.xgamestation.com/view_product.php?id=40  it's based on MACH CPLD, and when I check the sample chapter provided, the book is really very explainfull, but the kit is a bit expensive if we take into account that the book is **not** provided in hard paper format.

Do you know of any similar book, good and instructive that I can use to learn CPLD? (not necessarily those on the DP boards, I can do needed adaptations of codes).

I wanted to know where do you buy CMS/SMD components kits?
I basically bought some of them from SureElectronics (0805), and some on ebay, now I would like to switch to 0603 and 0402. Where do you suggest me to buy Cap and Res kits?

I wanted to know what PCB house do you use to make your PCB, you opinion about them and (very important) the time it takes to get your PCBs?

I'm going to send first batch to Seeedstudio (for their proto service) but want to know if you got better and quicker results in other places.
