Hi... Im very new to AVR mcu and its various implementation methods.
I had installed atmel studio6, managed to get STK500 programmer, and after some attempt succeed in programming simple LED blinking program on mega8515 available on STK500.
apart from this i dont know much about programming, about how to use studio6 as a simmulator, debugger...but on my way to learn this all...
BUT till then i cant wait to implement already establish projects.
I WANT TO make "Dangerous component/part tester" as discussed on this forum.
I had collected all files related to this project but only understand .c extension files. Can anyone guide me in implementing this project. means i just need step by step instruction.

When I press initialize chain button in impact tool some popup question says=> [glow]"There are many unknown devices being detected. Press yes to continue or Press NO to stop"[/glow][/b] If I say yes. PC become non responsive If I say no it gives an error => ERROR: IMPACT:585 A problem may exist in the hardware configuration. Check that the cable, scan chain, ...
There was no problem with the programming before. I programmed some other fpga and then it started. So I do not think that it is a hardware related problem on my side.
