Open Bench Logic Sniffer / One input fault
Hi,

For some reason today while using the OpenBench one of the input stop working :( There is anything I can do to understand if the problem is from the buffer or the FPGA? I wasn't doing anything fancy only read the value of a micro-controller io port.

Hi,
Some time ago, 3/4 months, you post an article about a blog with some series of tutorials about how computer works. He started talked about energy, he did some analogy with mountains and water. After he talk about digital circuits and after some fpga code. Do you remember which blog I'm talking about?

I use 100uF in paralell with 10nF and after the DC/DC converter (24v -> +-12V) I use a linear regulator 7805 and 7905 but the result still bad:


comparing with the bench power supply:


I'll need to get a better DC/DC converter with a higher switching frequency or a transformer from 230V to +-24V with a rectifier and a linear regulator.

Hi,
I'm using a opamp to create a triangular wave using the following design:

I started the project with a bench power supply (ISO-tech ips 3202) and was able to create a 2Khz triangular wave but after I changed to a traco power tel 15-2422 a lot of noise was introduce in the wave and I can't create a triangular wave with a frequency above 500/600Hz. The DC/DC converter is powered by the bench power supply.

Using the oscilloscope I calculate the FFT of the power signal from both power supplies:

DC/DC converter:


the little peaks that we can see in the FFT of the DC/DC converter are sufficient to change a lot the operation of the OpAmp?! It makes sense because it is in the same frequency that i'm creating the triangular wave...

what do you think?

Bus Pirate Support / UART brigde help
Hi, i have a bus pirate and i want to use it as uart bridge. I configure it and enter in birdge mode and can see the text sent by the device connect to the bus pirate but i can't send nothing to the device by the bus pirate :s
In terminal i write some chars click enter but this was not send to the device :S
