It occurred to me today that the banana plug connectors can probably be mounted to the other side of the PCB... I can't find any pics of the back side though. Can anyone confirm?
I really like this new breakout board. Building another PSU power supply is on my short list of things to do and you just made it very easy. However, one suggestion I'd like to make is that in the next revision please consider moving the PSU connector (and possibly all the other components to the back side of the board. This would make it considerably easier to build an enclosure that houses the PSU & breakout and all the other wires that dangle from a PSU. The way the connector is now this would be difficult and would have the unsightly connector on the front of the enclosure. Thanks! Keep up the great work!
I'll give that a try tonight. I accidentally hooked up the other bundle of probes and just went with it... I can see how this might have not been tested.
@jawi, thanks for the reply. I've tried various zoom levels but still do not see anything. I'm sure there's something I'm probably doing wrong but I've tried everything that I can see. Attached is a screen shot showing my results. From what I've seen in the tutorial this should be working.
I just got my OLS and am trying to figure out the LogicSniffer software. I'm analyzing an I2C circuit and I have the SDA & SCL showing correctly in the graph area of the software and if I run the I2C protocol analyzer it works fine. However, according to the below example, I should also be seeing annotations added to the graph that make it easier to read what's happening in the graph. For some reason these annotations are not added to my graph. All I see are highs & lows. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Here's the example I'm looking at that shows the annotations... www [dot] hobbytronics [dot] co [dot] uk/bus-pirate-logic-sniffer
