Breakout boards / ATX breakout board, 5V rail stability
Hallo ,

How stabil is the +5V rail of the ATX PSU  to be feed into uC in regards of taking ADC measurement.
Since i will be using internal Vref for ADC measurement.

p/s:Has anyone tried to use the breakout board for stepper motor?

General discussion / Re: How free are Microchips "free" samples?
just a few weeks ago, i just received  a free sample of DDC264CKZAW (64-Channel, Current-Input Analog-to-Digital Converter)  from Microchip. The chips is relatively expensive and microchip doesn't charge me anything.(not a single dime)
But I do use my corporate account and the chips will be used for prototyping an official future product ( if sucessful we will buy more of this chip).

i think more chip bug, because  i got the same rubbish reading when read throug  a PIC and display on a LCD..
I just order new chips, see if the problem still persist.

Hi,

I'm using the bus pirate v3.5 to read the DS1307 using the I2C protokoll. Everything look fine, but everything couple of time of reading the DS1307 provide rubbish readings. the weird part is a it only happens when reading the DS1307 every 1-2 second gap. The first good reading, rubbish, good...etc.

has anyone counter this? defekt from the DS1307 chip?

Do you have any problem with the mf70 after one year of use? I'm planning to buy one for pcb milling and maybe some light plexi glass or alu milling for enclosure.Have you try milling other matereial?

The plan is to buy the conversion kit from usozo.de
