I've been testing the Irtoy to send Sony IR code with winlirc and it's working great.
Now I would like to send Dishnetwork receiver code. I have changed the carrier frequency (56K) in the cfg file and put all the right codes for the buttons.
The Irtoy is transmitting the right codes (verified with Irscope and Irwidget) but is still sending the 38Khz carrier frequency instead of 56Khz as stated in the cfg file. Can the carrier frequency be changed ? I am using the latest firmware v09.

I have found my problem... It was a bad cap on the pin14(VUSB). I have put 500 nF and now its working fine.

Configurations bits are fine (set in code).Not working with bootloader and shorting PGC and PGD.

Yes the crystal is 20 MHz (verified with an oscilloscope).I have 3.3 V on pin 14.
Pin 14 is not connected to anything on the schematic.Is this normal? Why 3.3 Volt?
I may try with the bootloader.

I just made the irtoy (through hole version).I've programmed the PIC18F2550 with the pickit3 using firmware v09.I've checked the clock and all the connections and everything seems fine.I'm using windows xp pro french.When I connect the Irtoy, I get a message from windows saying USB Device Not Recognized.The circuit is drawing about 30 mA.

Am I missing something to make it work?
