Is the BB 4 going in production? is there an ETA? can I make a BB4 combining a ft2232 breakout board and a XC2C64A CoolRunner-II CPLD development board ?
This is my first smd solder, and I soldered the ftdi chip about 3 times already and I believe from the heat some track broke, because when I reheat it it works.
Firmware updated successfully :)! Use screen COM8 115200 to verify

I still do have some problems with the ftdi chip , the port appears and disappears by itself. strange thing is that when I heat the board it stays on

It looks like the bootloader is wrote to the chip but when I try to access the bootloader for writing the firmware it does not respond
Yes it was bad soldering on the chip, now it works, I see the com port. I have wrote with picprog first the bootloader then the firmware , both say ok, but in the terminal I get no answer. BPv3-Bootloader-v4.4.hex BPv3-frimware-v6.hex is this the correct order to upload the firmware?
Yes I wrote the bootloader and the firmware on the pic with my BP V4 and picprog, it completed succesfully. I had plugged ftdi brakout boards in the pc the drivers are already installed, but the win does not detect it. I thought I have to initialize the new ftdi chip somehow.
I received the free pcb and assembled the board. when I plug the usb the power and vreg are on and the usb is blinking but the pc does not recognize the ftdi chip do I have to initialize the ftdi chip or I did something wrong? I might have damaged the ft232?
Is there a cheat sheet with all the commands Bus Pirate can accept? I just read around the basic mode and printed a page with the basic commands for quick reference till get to learn them.
Would be nice to have something on one page with short descriptions for both base commands and basic mode.
Yes the macro works, but only 1 run the activate method only takes first run and the repeat does not recognize the syntax. somme kind of loop would be good.
and is there a way to make the macros persistent? when I unplug the BP the macros are gone.
