Bus Pirate Support / Powering a sub-circuit from BP3 while host still powered
 Hi

I am struggling to sniff SPI traffic, BP3 keeps telling me it couldn't keep up. As I want to read some registers, would I be able to power the device using the BP3 while still powered by the host device, and then unplug the host device to keep the power going to the device I'm trying to interact with or will that damage the host/sub-circuit/BP3?

The sub-circuit is a

Voltage to sub-circuit is 3.2v from host device.
