Hi, i was trying to replace the LCD on the SID with a (working) nokia 3310 LCD. but for some reason i cannot make it work. goes all black and then turn off. This is the code i am using. The look up table is just half because it cannot fit in the RAM (i can go on the ROM without problems but to be sure that was not the problem i put it on RAM). Any suggestion?. of course i don't have a logic analyzer. The compiler is C18.
Hi everyone, so the question is: where to buy small quantities of components. For example i need some capacitors 0603, and some normal through-hole resistor, and maybe a couple of other components. I already had buyed some kits, but parts are not equally used. First that someone suggest to buy a reel, i don't know what to do with 5000 piece of the same part. Normally i use www.taydaelectronics.com but they don't have 603 parts. Any one know another site like this one?

The thing that most I hate is to do the pcb, the idea is to build a cheap cnc to make pcb, how?. Ok, so we build a three axis CNC, but instead of mounting a drill on the head of the CNC, we put a laser, not a highpower laser that can cut anything, but a cheap laser 500mW, that can burn a black coating, so instead of make a press'n'peel process you will draw (burn really) on the coating your circuit then clean the board and then you just put your board on the FeCl, in alternative maybe can be used an UV laser to draw over the photoresist the circuit board.
The great thing about this, is you can use inexpensive stepper because you only have to move the laser.
