Is it also possible to specify the shipping cost on the documents? Over here they (DHL) assume the shipping cost is 100 USD to here, instead of the +-25 USD I paid, because it isn't specified. They will declare that 100 USD to customs and it will takes ages to get that straight. See more info here: http://http://smdprutser.nl/blog/dhl-dyscalculia-what-do-you-get-for-15-eur-handling-fee/

I'm having a little trouble finding the right parts on mouser. I don't suppose anybody has a BOM from mouser or digikey with part # from their order I can use? Sorry, I'm a bit new to sourcing parts.
The BOM is BOM and nothing more. It is not a "Mouser BOM" or "Farnell BOM". What problems do you have with Mouser?
MOuser (digikey too?) has a method to export/share a BOM with their sku's/partnumbers. That will make it convieniant for others. Kinda like dangerousprototypes does here: http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Shopping_carts
You can complain in the UK and DHL might offer you a refund. Getting that refund however is another matter...
Not DPCB related but I ordered some samples from China once. DHL decided 10x 0805 LEDs were worth enough to charge me £20. They finally agreed they were wrong and to refund, however, getting that refund is another matter. I've actually given up as the time and effort it was taking just wasn't worth it, even for £20. Their latest tactic is claiming the person who agreed to the refund no longer works there so the whole process has to start again, from my proving the items were samples.
So, in summary, once the 'Add to cart' option is fixed, I'd quite like the next change to be adding other couriers! :)
It took me like 3 months. Filling complaint forms seems to be the trick.
DHL must be trying to increase their revenue on shipping to UK desinations.
The following 3 orders were sent via 3 different HK shipping handlers, does that make a difference?
Feb 3 sets of proto + stencils, $6.18 charges. Order val inc DHL $133. April 2 proto & stencils, no charges. Order val $93. May 1 proto & stencil, $24.34 charges. Order val $52!!!
In .nl you can file a complaint with customs and ask for a refund. This is however a longwinding process :)
