I've hooked it up as below, but Flashrom gets stuck at "Calibrating delay loop... OK." message. Pin 32 > VCC Pin 31 > RC Clock Pin 13 > MOSI Pin 14 > MISO Pin 29 > CS Pin 28 > GRN When flashrom is executed with the following command the device restarts, I can hear Windows make the sound device removed, then device inserted and gets stuck with PWR light on PB V4. flashrom.exe -p buspirate_spi:dev=COM11,spispeed=1M

I've been trying hard so far no luck, the datasheet is very confusing. On page 3 there are 2 rerences to Pin layout and I'm confused, maybe I don't know how to read the sheet. The 1st diagram says: Pin 1 > NC - Not connected Pin 2 > RST - Reset On the bottom table it says: Pin 1 > VCC - Device Power Supply Pin 2 > NC - Not connected My first Bus Pirate project - very hard :(

Hi everyone, my first post! I'm trying to load a new BIOS to a corrupted BIOS file. I've located and removed the BIOS chip. I've purchased Pirate Bus V4 and is connected and working well on Windows 7 PC. The BIOS chip is PM49FL004T-33JCE - the data sheet is attached. I've managed to locate pins GND CLK but having problems with the rest of the pins. Could someone please tell me which pins from the Pirate Bus v4 to connect to this BIOS chip. I'd appreciate it very much. Page 3 of the attachment is the pin locations on the BIOS chip. Page 5 of the attachment is the description of the pin locations on the BIOS chip.
