I guess I should have put this query in your thread, as you studied this source yourself, but I thought it might out of order since it's not really about Demon Core. Thanks again.
I am attempting to locate the VHDL and PIC source for the last VHDL version before Dogsbody's switch to Verilog. I found his code because he maintains it at his own site; unfortunately, I find Verilog impenetrable. I have some knowledge of VHDL and should be able to learn what I'm after (not the details but the big picture) from the older version. Once I have worked through that I might be in a better position to tackle the Verilog.
I thought I had found the Holy Grail at https://github.com/GadgetFactory/Libraries.git. However I see no sign of HDL. I'm either at the wrong place or don't know enough GitHub to find it, or both.
I'd appreciate pretty specific instructions on locating this source and, hopefully, the associated Xilinx ISE project.
Also, I'm new to this forum (any forum, actually) so I have no knowledge of etiquette. I see this issue has been raised before, but as it was some time ago I wasn't sure that a new post would be noticed. Hence the new topic.
Ian, My initial thought was that source for all SUMP descendents was in a central repository, and I was baffled that no one every mentioned where it was :). Anyway, I finally stumbled onto mygizmos.org which, I assume, is the home of the latest dope on the Demon Core version.
I have an Intronix LA which has been my faithful companion for some years, but it cost 8X as much. With the triggering features you have added, OLS is way out in front. OLS can count itself lucky to have attracted the attention of such high-powered talent.
I would like to see the verilog code (and if possible a Xilinx ISE project for same). I don't know verilog but have some familiarity with VHDL and would like to study the design. I've just joined the forum and am probably doing this wrong!
