Oh, Sorry, It's 20krpm! I have corrected the post. I bought one easydriver, wich I think is similar to the pololu, to do some tests. Need to check first if they match the motors, and will not get smoked. But now, as this project is finally working, I will go back first to get a extruder for my BfB reprap to work... (http://www.bitsfrombytes.com/forum/post ... cting-v201) cheers
I'm using the QFP50 dangerous proto board as a reference design to test the precision of a proxxon mf-70 retrofitted micro CNC. I'm quite happy with the results!
Yesterday my free PCB arrived. The envelope and PCB came in perfect conditions. [attachment=3] After a couple of minutes looking for parts, found most of them, except for the IR receivers. I didn't had a narrow 28 DIP socket, so I took a wide one from an old network card and cutted the plastic bridge between both sides. A few other components are recycled, like the USB connector. [attachment=2] One hour later everything is soldered, time to write the bootloader. I'm using my cheap pickit2 clone (this one was programmed with a serial PIC writer wich Ian published in DIY life some time ago). [attachment=1][attachment=0] Everything went OK, later firmware was written and tested in serial console. Now I just need to find those IR receivers. Thanks Ian!
