Client software / Pulse Counter wrong transistion.
I just found this ... it might be fix tho ...

When I select Channel 0  I get  transistion up 0 down 1
When I select Channel 1  I get  transistion up 1 down 0    (wrong)

I'm using  0.9.7 release before the SP1, I didn't have time to install the last version.
EDIT: same behavior with 0.9.7SP1

I got a pretty lamp frame from the dumpster few weeks ago, "the electronics" is burn by I like the frame  design ...
so yesterday I got few 4 leds square ($1.50each)  and a switch from the surplus store nearby :o)
I have few 12volt dc adapter laying around so I will reused one of them.

Tests,
2 squares will be enough, each square need 12v and 75mA.

so this week I will take some time to drill some holes, build some bracket, wire few things .... 
and maybe have a new dumpster lamp !!

Well in fact it does works at least for making connection tests :o)
I had to add the PID/VID definitions in both UsbId.java, CdcAcmSerialDriver.java and also add permission filter in xml ...

So thumb up for that lib :o) 

I might not used it tho,  I might rewrite a part of that, in a real slim way in my application...

So ! ....
2 years later, here an update on living with my dangerous Flash Destroyer hack !!!

First off,  front and back picture :o)





I added few things since its birth ...

A battery for the real time clock,  really handy when you reprogram code and you don't want to lose the current time ...
4 buttons who are routed to the bottom left header, and who connect to the IO chip with green jumpers.
Some kind of feet, printed on my Prusa2 clone :o)

So what is it life since 2 years ??
well this is my principal clock on my desk and I use it from time to time has a prototype board.
So it turn out pretty handy and I still love the look, (and the weird look of people looking at it)  :o)

I added software to helping me with things.
There's 3 different kind of clocks, 
a standard clock, date display, 
another alternating hour - date clock,
and clock with strange font...

After than I have menus to display the read out off the IO chip.
and few entry points to custom piece of code I want to used or test,
related to breadboard use or piece off code I want to try.

Ex.  I used it to test a generic soft timer package, trigger at day-time like... 
I used the IO for triggering a 433mhz  kind of beacon for a while ...
and used input mode to validate a 4 lines status of a thing I built...


So everything was fine until just before last Xmas ....  It suddently started to  reset itself ....
Geez I thought it was dying !  so I tested all chips , just to find the IO chip was going mad after few i2c messages , wierd...
After swapping the chip, it was like new :o)

Since then I used it few days, for adapting the microchip USB stack,  it took me a bit, cause MC, did not fully port their usb cdc exemples niether their stack to the xc8 compiler ... ( I cannot used the DP usb stack for the next project :o( )

So now it is working, the next step is to find an Android driver who emulated a serial port (usb CDC) and link my cheap android tablet to my cool hack !!  Anyone have done that here ?

Since few months I basically used my BP for  tests of some i2c chips.
I loved it so much that I did patch the firmware to have it display read values in different formats ! 
Thanks to developers here this is now include in the last beta :-)

Yes it is right $25 for 1 DLatch !  They are cool tho they added more shipping services to Canada, now the lowest is only $28, when I checked they had only express shipping  for $115.
Yes I sent them a message, and YES it is for 1 ic only !!!

Another ebay seller sold me few for 0.25 each with free shipping...

Since that time I'm thinking to open a store and sell all my old ( but not used)  "ls" family ic stock,  at only $20 each !!!

I also bought  2 like your at the bottom ...
It will be interesting if you compare both type of module !

I also bought inductor kits,  I only had few specific values so a more complete kit is nice
I got it on auction, seller still have some kits on auction :-)

It feels like it is Xmas everyday for me, I ordered a bunch of stuff too from ebay, but you never know what you will find in your mailbox !

Last week I got  jumpers !!!

I had a small bag with few tens of them always handy when you play with computer parts ...
but misplaced it during xmas time ...
I went to my local pc parts place ... they sell them something like $1 for 10 jumpers !!!  WTF !
So I ordered a BAG of them  a 1000 jumpers ! for $8 ,  I will have jumpers for the rest of my life for sure ! :oP

Nope windoze fall apart alot faster than any hardware will drift !
One of Windoze greatest achievement is its super marketing product life cycle !

endless 2 years cycle market strategy
buy the new Windoze ( so better than the old one, with NO bugs),  give Bill few $100 
add patches over the first year
crash so often for the rest of life than you need to reinstall all stuff
time to trash it for good , restart the cycle

This life cycle is so well accepted than alot of products are now made to break after 2 or 3 years !

It wasn't like that long time ago ...
I have few old 30 years old computer still running fine !
