I basically came out of the door from the immigration place and waited with a massive crowd till realizing I needed to go across the bridge. Helps to read the notes on the page. Then got to the other side and found a car.

There were a whole lot of people standing around seeming to be doing nothing. which I initially thought was a queue waiting, but they seemed to just be standing there.

Ive had no luck with wifi in the room, but there is an ethernet port and luckilly I bought a USB ethernet adapter so I have connectivity on the notebook at least.

Getting close now.

Ive booked into the city inn, but I cant seem to find its address in chinese on expedia to print out to show anyone.

Im arriving in HK at 6:30 am on the monday if anyone else is getting in around that time.

Also is a local sim really needed? Does roaming not work onto the networks over there very well?

No new laptop has it directly onboard because the connector is so huge, but there are cheap adapters from the mini/micro displayport to VGA if you still need it.

There are still many places with VGA cables in wall to projectors etc (usually ugly 4:3 ones) that people use for powerpoint presentations etc.

I dont miss VGA, the constant auto adjusting and its inability to lock cleanly onto sub pixel rendered fonts left it a nasty relic making flickering shimmering displays.

Client software / How to measure durations?
Probably a really really stupid question, but I have just installed ols 0.9.6.1, using a buspirate to snag the data going to the transmitter on a wireless power meter sensor.

Anyway, I get the wave showing up on CH 0 using the red wire from CS, and I can right click and add cursors, but I cant see anywhere that shows me the durations between rising and falling edges, I get arrows appearing over the trace, and I can drop cursors that will give me the time from the zero origen, but I cant seem to find where to see the duration between cursors even.

Am I missing something really basic?

Read in something that it had to use 4 bit mode because of pin availablility.

Is there enough left that 2 CS lines would be available for either a 4x40 display or else 2 smaller displays?
