USB Infrared Toy / Winlirc and serial irman/uir not work

hi

i have a irman/uir compatible device that work in a com port.
winlirc now supports this type of devices but not work correctly because the com port models requires a signal in rts/dtr pin.
is possible add this option?

hello.
a little suggestion
maybe you can change in LCD HD44780 8 bit -> 4bit mode and unused pins can be used for more in and outs (buttons relays etc.)

adding support for others remote codes : RC5, RC6, NEC, SONY SIRC, Matsushita panasonic, etc
in uir/irman mode!
