I did try the IRToySelfTest last night and this is what i got:
So i'm thinking that its not working correctly?
I also tried the IRToyPlayRec:
And it also seems not to work. And i made sure it was COM3 that it was on and it is.
Any suggestions?

Yes it is the IR REC/Play i am talking about when i say RAW. Most of the time it works and has all the numbers on the screen for each button i push. I am using a Panasonic DVD player remote to just test out that i am unsure of the model as i am not home to see it right now.
I guess my question is: After i get all those funky codes, how can i use them to send, say a play command, from the IR TOY (yes, using the IR play exe i guess)?

However, what program can i use to receive the IR from a remote? And what program can i use to send that IR to whatever device? The list I've seen (ghost, grind, etc) doesn't seem to read IR. I've tried the RAW input that came in the zip file for the USB IR Toy but even that doesn't work half the time when i push buttons.
I would just like a simple interface with receiving IR's from a remote, saving them and putting them into a program to blast out. Does any software like that exist?
