Project logs / HAKKO (907ESD) and SOLOMON (SL-10/30) soldering iron driver
Small question:

- can someone estimate the price for the components for the soldering iron driver board ??
- whats the official part list ??? I want able to find it...
-is this design stable ??? I dont want to debug that much...


I figured out this project is great , the advantage is not only the price:
Its even better than an original soldering station because you are not STUCK with jus one brand for handles or tips.
I think i will get an original weller handle and cloned 907 :)

Web platform / nagios+telnet+webplataform+sensor?
Hi Forum

First than all : Congratulations for the great work with the webplataform !!

I have have been going around this for a while.

-I think it would be pretty interesting to be able to interface Nagios or other linux monitoring/data loging/graphing GNU software , with microcontroles via TCP/IP.
-Of course to monitor sensors (humidity , current , temp , etc) and control stuff remotely (configuration registers , triger relays , DACs etc).

Something similar to this:  (Coded in Mikropascal and SNMP)

I think with the new telnet developements you have been working , should be quite simple now..
