Werva. I have your same issue cannot find U6 so it is safe to use REF3130AIDBZT instead since I can order that easy.
Tronix," it is working after trying 8 different pumps " , does this mean you destroyed 8 pumps ? May I ask if this is for sale please, if yes any idea re price? We do daily repairs on power supplies the gun I have is an old Aoyue and compare to your video I need 3 times your time to extract your chip I am impressed
I do not want your refund for U6 it cost only few pennys, if you tell me that it is faulty I can replace that, on my board U6 is fine. You already have all my info, I bought this board because SparkyBg said it is good and it gave him results as his board. If I knew that I am going to have all this hassle you think I would buy it? Please reply to the emails I have sent if you cannot send me a New Working Board just do not reply and waste more of my time with SORRY, I already said your sorry is not accepted.
You must be kiding me that you are going to refund U6 chip what about you give us the return address and send us a working one at your expense? I already replaced 5 chips on the device as suggest by vulkan35 which cost me €9.80 and still have 511c, I did the test as suggested on U6 and my drop voltage at 3V so I think U6 is fine but Q22, Q19 , D19 & D18 did not passed test after extracted. What about reply to my messages sorry is not enough for the time you wasted me.
I do not have a camera that can focus that little detail what I have is my mobile S20 which is very bad at focus. My U5 is also yellow paint like WerVa shall we change it or does not make difference that it is not real? I should have more parts soon and hope it will fix this 511c.
Werva, I have your same problem, I have replaced U12, U13, U17, U18 and still same problem and been fighting this for the past 2 weeks almost. I have started removed around the trimmer area and found a surprise in my case, D18, D19, Q19 and Q22 blow up in my case. Hope it helps, I am wait for these to arrive. I am worried that I did damage to U12, U13, U17, U18. Anyway I can test them out now they real microchip if they are not damaged again. I had the same issue of Snow, after I told him the problem Lovediy said that I did something wrong and since then never replied back which scks to leave us like this.
Hello Alexandra, you have a nice plan and gift ahead. 1) I am still waiting a reply from LoveDIY for my faulty PCB. 2) I am still waiting for the parts I have ordered to maybe fix my new Tindie PCB at my expense.
I read a post similar to yours from JANE and that what triggered me to buy a ready one. Today I can confirm it was a mistake, unless you here to promote lovediy pcb I would suggest to ask if you can buy something better even if u pay little more from other members.
Thanks minkok, I do not know how to check or read measurements on the digital pots I do not know the values of the correct pot I did test caps - res - diode and transistors on the front all good. I should have the parts in 7-10 days DHL have huge delays hope I will not blow the new parts so I am open to any suggestions to find this fault.
I have done the calibration as requested and it does no difference if I connect 10 ohm (connected to SENSEA and Vout1-) or not, I tried AC and had the same result however the screen remain DCE and does not sense AC. https://vimeo.com/557287333
Hi minkok, more then easier, I want this to work since I am sure there is no short I will risk replace one by one until I find the faulty one, I have 100mhz Digital Oszilloskop 4 ch , I have the schematic and also good VMM but without having someone to guide me and maybe compare results does not help unless you know what you are looking for it is pretty much useless, re voltages all good.
hi minkok, the board was bought calibrated and tested as far as I know and it was working before this U8 decided to blowup. I still believe there are more faulty parts still on board the problem have no idea to find what is dead. SDA to Gnd short was my problem and I believe it damaged other neighbour parts thanks if you have any idea I can try.
I have checked both boards for short and I cannot find any, I checked the schematic and the short I had was on SDA pin5 to GND. Shall I try to remove any chip that has Serial Data, any help please?
